    Default the Old Scout

Just signed up to find an answer for my 16 year old son's question regarding acceptable flag etiquette. He remarked about a photo in the most recent NEWSWEEK showing my GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin wrapped in an American flag. Having told him of issues in the past (60's) where burning the flag and wearing it as clothing was correctly challanged, I was at a loss for words and suggested that I would consult the experts and fill him in when he gets out of school. Any ideas?

I'm no expert, but It was wrong, accoding to flag etiquette, as was President Bush standing on a flag "rug/carpet" at ground 0 after 9-11, as was Obama not having his hand over his heart in the "famous picture" with Hilary Clinton, and someone else. Right's right, wrong's wrong, sky's blue, grass is green and water's wet. What can we do about it?
