1st Navy Jack

    Is it ok to fly the Navy jack on a flag pole outside your home? Can you fly it alone or on the same pole below the US flag?

    I was in the Navy a few years ago and just got a flag pole, I always liked this flag. I just do not know what is acceptable. I can not seem to find any information about how to fly it.

    We flew it on the front of the ship but I never saw it anywhere other than on a US ship.

    Greetings AI 1214! Welcome to the forum.

    The FNJ is flown on the bows of Navy ships, but there are no restrictions about flying it elsewhere. You can fly it on your pole by itself, or under the US flag. They're available from many flag dealers in a variety of sizes.
