I recently bought this flag but don't know the manufacturer or time period it was made. if anyone knows I would appreciate the info. Thanks. I'm not exactly sure how to post pics but I'll try. The flag is ~5'x8' make of wool. The stars are stitched on. I can't make out the manufacturer because the ink is faded.

    Hi Springfield84,
There is not much to go on but if you could upload a photograph that may help us. Seeing the flag could give us a clue how old it is. One thing for sure, wool bunting was used for making flags in the first part of the twentieth century and mostly phased out after WWII. By 1960 when the US flag was changed to 50 stars almost all flags were entirely made in cotton, nylon or other synthetic materials. If you are having problems uploading a photograph you can email me the photo and I can do it for you. Let me know and I will give you my email address.
    Cheers,
    mike
