Salutations to all! I have never posted like rhis before. Yet I was sparked when a friend on face book aske me about proper disposal of our dear ol' ensign... so here I am.. I am on a mobile and ver "green" on navigation skill. To quote movie 'Fryed Green Tomatoes'... "oh sweety, you've been living in the dark ages!" Laugh out loud. Anyways I've seen sources the flags can be taken to however. Someone I know us icapable of getting around.. do boy scouts vfw or etc.. do home visits for retiring our flag? Hmmm... because we're patriots that care. Thank you for your time in response.

Hello, Tamra -- welcome to the forum!

I'm not quite clear about what your question is. There are many organizations that dispose of flags, and some of them even have "drop boxes" for used flags. You can also dispose of the flag yourself, as long as it's done in a way that doesn't allow it to be seen in a disrespectful situation (e.g., don't just toss it in the dumpster or use it as a rag).
