    Hi Everyone

I am a Cub Master for the for my sons cub scout pack, and we have been asked to lead our towns 4th of July parade. I am not sure how our 3 flags should be carried. We have the American flag, our State flag and our pack flag. Any help would be nice.

    Thanks

    Hello, 89stp,

The classic way is to have the three flag bearers march side by side. The order from right to left (when facing in the direction of march) should be US flag, state flag and pack flag.

When passing the reviewing stand, the state and pack flags should be "dipped" in salute while the US flag remains vertical. To dip the flags, the bearers lower the poles together to about a 45-degree angle from vertical, and then raise them again after passing the stand.
