Common Mistakes w/Flag Poles of Equal Height

    Occasionally, well meaning flag custodians will make sure the Stars & Stripes is always displayed in the center of, and usually higher than, accompanying subordinate flags, even with flag poles of equal height. I came across the following illustration from Wikipedia under the subject United States Flag. Local examples are the township and hotel photos.

    Hi, FlagAdvocate!

    I agree that the first picture shows the three Flags being displayed correctly, and the 2nd & 3rd pictures show the three Flags being displayed incorrectly. Now if the center pole were to be noticeably taller.....
