I would like to know if there is a proper location in placing the U,S, flag outside at a church.
Hello, Louis -- welcome to the forum! I've moved your post to a new thread in the "US Flag Display" section so that it will get better visibility.
There are no specific rules for displaying a flag outside at a church. Obviously, it should be in a location that's visible, and where it won't foul on trees, buildings, etc. Many churches have multiple flag poles, and display the US and Christian flags together. If this is your case, you'll actually have a decision to make: the US flag code states that the US flag should be on the right (viewer's left) of other flags, but there's also a Christian flag code that gives precedence to the Christian flag. It's really up to the individual church authorities or congregation to decided which one they want to follow.
