I recently purchased a beautiful old looking needle point/wall hanging that is titled "Flag Rules" It reads this way. 1. Our flag should be treated with respect 2. Never let it touch the ground 3. Never let sun set on it 4. Never use flag to make something else 5. Never draw or sew something on flag 6. Always hang up flag so that the stars are on your left when you look at it 7. Pa said that the red is for courage white for purity and blue for loyalty. Signed; Martha 1897 age 8 It appears old but it might not be. I have searched on the web to see if anyone might have heard of it. Thanks for any insight to it.
