DETAILS : The service commemorates Arizona Peace Officers Memorial Day and commences Arizona Peace Officers Memorial Week by honoring officers killed in the line of duty during the past year. NOTE : The annual NATIONAL "Peace Officers Memorial Day" is every May 15th. Flags should be flown at half-staff UNLESS May 15th falls on the third (3rd) Saturday in May, which is ARMED FORCES DAY.
