We are going to change the position of our US flag in our church. Can we tip our US flag that is on a pedestal base? If so, what degree of tip may be used?
The US flag is now on a pole vertical, we would like to mount a tipped base to a wall.

We will make a mounting bracket with the tipped angle.

    Hello, "SmoothEvan"! :D

Welcome to the USA-FLAG-SITE Forums! :D

Mounting your Flag & flagpole on a wall bracket shouldn't be a "problem". Most single position wall brackets hold the pole at a 45 degree angle. Two position brackets are set at 45 and 90 degrees.

Please consult the U.S. Flag Code for guidance on where to position your Flag & pole. You can find a copy of it on the USHistory.org site:

Good Luck with your project. Hope everything goes smoothly!

Thank you for bringing your Flag-related question to our Forums! :D
