QUESTION: At Ft. McHenry recently, I noticed an entire Boy Scout Troop saluting the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. as a veteran, while I support Boy Scouts, I believe that to be against the flag code if one interprets the line "...all persons in uniform should render the military salute." to mean active duty military and veterans only. It seems to be an act of stolen valor. How do the Boy Scouts justify this?
