Is it patriotic?
Welcome to the USA-FLAG-SITE Forums!
Is Flag tattoo art patriotic? I would think (IMHO) that if it is drawn with genuine respect for the Flag and the tattoo is placed in a (for the want of another word) "respectful" place, then, yes! If not, then no.
I hope that helps!

I had my flag inked on my left upper arm over 40 years ago and although it's faded now it still reminds me of my country I love and who'll I would die for. I think its a statement that is permanent.
Further to my last observation about inking. I had seen the better off than a bottle of navy rum but now sober my sentiments are the same. Just a word of advice to young Matelots on the ocean wave and finding themselves in foreign parts 'don't drink in ink' I made that mistake in Hong Kong as a young rating.
