I had tried an intro last month but it never posted?

I've always had a fondness for old glory. I operated the spot light in grade school when our school put on "A Pageant of Flags" nearly 35 yrs. ago.

The show tune still pops into my mind from time to time. " ... what does it stand for, what does it mean, when did the first flag appear on the scene, the flag, the flag, the American flag ..."

Hi, Hoss and welcome to the site. We all share your passion for the flag. It's meaning, it's history and it's protection. Hope that you will enjoy it here!

I would imagine "A Pageant of Flags" isn't such a big hit in school plays anymore. Welcome fellow Patriot!

Default now where would we be with out the english ...

... it was a production our grade school put on. It was a truely moving theatrical production, of song, including the history of each flag from the beginning, as well as a "parade" of each flag through the school gymnasium. Our grade school music teacher played all the songs himself on the piano and the choir sang along, as I worked the spot light on each flag as it entered the gymnasium.

only wish I had a video of it. your right uncleflag ... to bad this isn't still part of present school life.

    thanks

    hoss
