 US and Native American Flag Display We are having our convention at a location on a reservation and the tribe will providing the Color Guard. They will be bringing in their nation's flag as well as the US. My question is what is the order of display and entrance? Does the US flag go on the extreme right of the head table (outside of tribal flag) or at the right of the table with the tribal flag on the extreme right. I know they fly at the same height. When entering does the US flag come in first or the tribal flag or do they come in alongside each other. Thanks all, Alphie

| Re: US and Native American Flag Display . Hi, Alphonse !  Welcome to the USA-Flag-Site Forums ! GREAT question and one that I will leave to much more knowledgeable minds to ponder and answer !!!  MY guess is, and that's ALL it is - a GUESS (because I do NOT know), would be that the protocol might hinge on whether or not the Tribe's (or more accurately, "Tribal Nation's") Reservation is considered "Sovereign" territory.
