Default US Army's "Spirit of America"

Friday night, I went to a performance of "Spirit of America", put on by the US Army.

It's an interesting show - the first half is essentially a series of tableaux depicting UC history from the viewpoint of the Army. What makes it relevant to this thread is that in addition to wearing period uniforms and the like, the flag bearers use period design flags.

Then during the second act you get performances by the Drum and Fife Corps, the Drill Team, and the Army band.

They only do these performances for one month per year, and then only three cities per year. If you are into US History and patriotism and the like, it's well worth seeing. It's a free show, you just need to request tickets.

And, let's face it, it wouldn't be a post from me without pictues, here you go:

Actually there were, they did do a re-enactment of the Civil War, or a couple key moments from that war. The Confederate flag was on display when appropriate.
