Us flag and State

When displaying the US flag on the wall with a state flag where does the state flag hang? to the left or right of the US flag (when looking at the wall)

when displaying the flag of the US on a wall it should be on its own right (the viewers left) and whether you hang it horizontally or vertically - the stars should also be on their on right- the viewers top left

so in answer to your question - the US flag should be on the left and the state flag on the right - as you look at them on the wall.

The order would be exactly how you just said...

the US flag would be on its own right - (the left from a viewers point of view)

then the state flag would be next and then the Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration flags
