| I have seen US Flags posted on the left and right of porches. Which is correct? I want to post the US Flag & our state flag both on either side of our front door. US flag on right & state flag on left? (As viewed by passerbys)??? Much obliged, Mustang Gregg

| Hi, Gregg, welcome aboard! The US flag should be to the left of the state flag (and any other flags) as viewed by passersby. The general rule is that the position of honor is on a flag's own right. For example, if you had the US flag, a foreign national flag and a US state flag, the order would be US/Foreign national/state from left to right (again, as seen by a viewer in front of the display). Best regards, Peter Ansoff
