Default would like some information on an old flag

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with an old flag that my dad bought at a tag-sale many years ago. It was made by the dettras flag company possibly in the 1800's. It looks like the proctor and gambal companys symbol . It is a standard size red flag with two points instead of a rectangle flag a white half- man moon with thirteen white stars . did this type of flag possibly be from the main headquarters of proctor and gamble at one time or was this flag mass-produced . It is quite old and the dettras flag company is out of business now so I would appriciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Actually, the Dettra Company was founded in 1901 by John C. Dettra of Oaks, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

    HI,
The flag of Van Dorn's troops in the Confederate Army in the west had those same elements, but I don't see any versions that appear to be burgee-shaped. Nick A, Columbia Maryland
